About Me
I worked as Adviser in the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change Govt of India, dealing with several environmental issues particularly related to environmental impact assessment and appraisal of developmental projects of the Country. I was having mandate of carrying out environmental monitoring and review of EIA reports for the projects of Country. I have more than 25 years of field experience of environmental monitoring for the projects located in the states of Orissa, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Andaman and Nicobar Islands of eastern region and Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Sikkim of North Eastern region of the country.
My research interest is in the area of terrestrial ecology and Mangroves apart from my professional job in the ministry.
